  5. There were several causes of the American Revolution. England wanted to control the colonies and the colonists began to resent that. There was heavy taxation on the colonies and King George was unwilling to compromise. All of the reasons just built up over time and the Colonists rebelled. So, I don't think there is one or two causes, I think it was a combination of many.

The consequence of the Revolution was the loss of many lifes, however, the colonist did gain their separation from England.

  8. I believe that the cause of the American Revolution was taxation. "Taxation without representation." Colonials thought the English could not control colonies from far away. Some people like John Hancock did not want to pay taxes on his goods being brought into the docks or sent to England, import and export. There were many different outcomes for the American Revolution and they were socially, politically, and economically.

  9. Starting with The French and Indian War which lasted for seven years, it made England financial burdened. So in turn the British explored new ways of making some of that money back by taxing the American colonies. The taxes were so great that the Americans rebelled. That was the cause. The consequence was that the British lost the American colonies.
